The valley bus link became a year-round proposition

Haute Tarentaise’s intermunicipal authority announced on 3 December 2025 that the Cars Région S82/S83 services would run throughout the year, seven days a week. Its notice described links between Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Séez, Sainte-Foy, Tignes 1800 and Val d’Isère.

The change matters beyond Saturday arrivals: a valley connection operating outside the main tourist seasons can support residents, seasonal workers and visitors travelling at quieter times.

The announcement encouraged advance seat reservations. It does not establish today’s departures or fares, and different journeys may have different stopping patterns. For a trip now, use the operator’s current timetable and booking information rather than an archived winter schedule.
