A size-1 melt avalanche was reported after an overcast night with little refreezing. The snowpack was very wet on all aspects, and several similar releases occurred before and afterward.

The original report’s first photograph shows the ski-touring itinerary in the combe; its second was taken at Col de la Sachette.

Snow-covered slopes below rocky cliffs, with several narrow avalanche tracks and snow deposits at the foot of the slopes in the Col de la Sachette sector.
